།གླིང་གེ་སེར་རྒྱལ་པོ་འདི་ དམག་གི་ལྷ་ཅིག་ཨིན། དམག་དཔོན་ཁྲོ་བོ་ཅིག་གི་ངང་ཚུལ་བཞུགས་ཏེ་ཡོཐ་རུང་ ཆོས་ཀྱི་ ཁུངས་དོན་ནང་ལས་ གེ་སེར་འདི་ ཡང་དག་པའི་བྱམས་དང་སྙིང་རྗེའི་བདག་ཉིད་ཅན་ཅིག་ཨིན། དེ་གིས་སྦེ་ ཕྱིའི་ དགྲ་ཟློག་ནི་དང་ ནང་གི་དཀའ་ངལ་སེལ་ནི་ལུ་ དཔུང་གྲོགས་གནང་ཆེད་ ལྷ་ཁང་འདི་ནང་བཞུགས་སུ་གསོལ་ཏེ་ ཡོདཔ་ཨིན། གླིང་གེ་སེར་འདི་ འཇིག་རྟེན་འདི་ནང་བཞུགས་པའི་སྐབས་ བོད་ཀྱི་ནུབ་བྱང་མཚམས་ཀྱི་ གླིང་གི་ རྒྱལ་པོ་ཨིན་རུང་ ཁོ་གིས་དུས་ནམ་རང་ཨིན་རུང་ ས་གནས་ག་ཏེ་འབད་རུང་ དགོ་མཁོ་ཡོད་སར་འབྱོན་ཚུགསཔ་ ཨིན་མས། གེ་སར་གྱིས་ སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་བསྟན་པ་དང་ འགྲོ་བ་མིའི་མཐའ་དོན་ལུ་ དམག་རྐྱབ་སྟེ་ འགྲོ་བ་མི་དེ་ ཚུ་ བདུད་ཀྱི་འཛིན་བཟུང་ལས་མཐར་གནང་ནུགཀྲོང་གསར་ལྟ་རྫོང་འདི་ སྔར་བཞིན་ཕྱིའི་དགྲ་ངོ་མ་ལས་སྲུང་ནི་དང་ ཞི་མཐུན་ཐོག་ལུ་མི་ཚེ་སྐྱོང་ནི་གི་ གེགས་དང་བར་ཆད་གེ་རང་ཟློག་ཚུགས་མི་ དྲག་ཤོས་འདི་གེ་སར་ཨིན། གེ་སར་འདི་ ལྷ་ཁང་ནང་ བཟོ་རྣམས་མ་འདྲཝ་ལེ་ཤ་ཅིག་གི་ཐོག་ལུ་བཞུགས་ཏེ་ཡོད། ཁོ་གི་སྐུ་འདྲ་དེ་ ཁྱད་རྣམ་ གསུམ་གྱི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་ནང་བཞུགས་ཡོདཔ་མ་ཚད་ འཇིག་རྟེན་པའི་མི་གཟུགས་ཀྱི་ཚུལ་ནང་ སྐུ་འདྲ་མི་ཚདམ་ཅིག་ ཡོད། ལྡེབས་རིས་ཚུ་ནང་དམག་ལྷའི་གོ་ཁྲབ་ཡན་ལག་དགུའི་མཚོན་བྱེད་སྦེ་ བཀོད་དེ་ཡོད། རྫོང་ནང་གི་དགེ་སློང་ ཅིག་གིས་ དུས་རྒྱུན་དུ་ གེ་སར་ལུ་གུས་བཀུར་ཞབས་ཏོག་ཞུ་ཐོག་ལས་ ཉིན་བསྟར་གྱི་མཆོད་པ་ཚུ་ཕུལཝ་ཨིན། ཁོ་ལུ་ སྤྱིར་འཛམ་གླིང་ཡོངས་ གནོད་བཅུད་དང་བཅས་པ་དང་ བྱེ་བྲག་ཏུ་དཔལ་ལྡན་འབྲུག་པའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ ཡང་ སྒོས་སུ་ཀྲོང་གསར་ལུང་ཕྱོགས་དང་ ཀྲོང་གསར་རྫོང་འདི་ སྲུང་སྐྱོབས་མཛད་དགོ་པའི་དོན་ལུ་ གསོལ་བ་བཏབ་

The glorious legendary hero, King Gesar Ling is a God of war. Though he has the appearance of a wrathful military leader, from a religious perspective Gesar is regarded as an emanation of enlightened compassion. As such he is invoked in this temple for his aid and support against external as well as inner perils. During his last earthly existence he was ruler of the Kingdom of Ling in north-west Tibet and today he could appear anywhere at any time. Gesar fought for good and Buddhism and freed human beings from the clutches of evil demons. He is right person to protect Trongsa Dzong, be it against real enemies as in the past or against all obstacle to a life of harmony. Gesar Ling is presented in several different forms within his temple. His statue stands in the three-dimensional mandala. While a life-size figure provide him with an earthly body. Mural painting relates his exploits, depicting Gesar in the nine-part armour of the gods of war. A monk from the Dzong is exclusively dedicated to the veneration of Gesar, Each day he brings offerings and ask for protection of the Dzong, the province, the whole world and the universe.
